Alexandria, Virginia – August 4, 2024—Invictus International Consulting, LLC celebrates ten years in business.
On this day, ten years ago, Invictus began its successful journey when Jim Kelly and a few of his founding partners met in their first offices in Alexandria, VA to create Invictus International Consulting, LLC. While expectations were high, they could not have known how successful Invictus would become in a relatively short period of time.
By 2016, Invictus had won its first major contract and by 2018, Invictus had built industry leading teams that won 3 major Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicles that would allow the company to prime work and become a leading provider of cybersecurity, information technology and intelligence analysis services to the US Government. In 2019, Invictus ranked #103 on the Inc 500’s fastest growing companies in the United States and was the 7th fastest growing business in the country. Since that time, Invictus has won several contract awards and has continued to grow and make vital contributions to the nation’s security. After winning 4 major contracts last year (SITE III’s largest Task Order, 2 SIA3 Task Orders and a major Task Order under AFRL’s ACT3 contract), Invictus is poised to more than double the total number of employees in 2024 with a projected growth in revenue of almost 300%.
Invictus held a celebration on August 22nd to commemorate the 10th Anniversary. Jim Kelly was presented with a hand-made Invictus varsity jacket as a gift from the executive staff. Jim stated that he thought we created a very special company here and that “in all of your career, I don’t think you’ll find a company quite like Invictus again.” Invictus’ President, Jamie Navarro, wrote and recited a poem about Invictus’ decade of success. To paraphrase one line of the poem – it read, “10 years and it’s been one hell of ride, but the people are the best part if I must confide.”
With our facilities expanding and new facilities being built in Colorado Springs, the best is yet to come for Invictus.
