February 11, 2022, Suffolk, VA – Invictus has been supporting the US Coast Guard (USCG) with cybersecurity services since December 2018. Our work started at what was then the USCG Command, Control and Communications Engineering Center (C3CEN) and was later renamed the Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC). Our support to the C5ISC IA Section has supported their continuing responsibility to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information that is used and to ensure essential Coast Guard functions are carried out. As part of the IA Section, Invictus staff has supported the Security Authorization Process (SAP) for all Classified and Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) Networks and Systems supported by C5ISC across the Coast Guard. This support has included Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) support to both ashore and shipborne systems and for high priority programs like Rescue 21. Invictus cybersecurity engineers have supported more than 5 inspections aboard Coast Guard Cutters and were recognized in January 2021 for supporting critical surge requirements in response to a cyber vulnerability in early 2020.
