While COVID-19 restrictions kept us from having our usual in-person holiday events, Invictus International Consulting marked another year of tremendous growth and success by hosting a Virtual Christmas Celebration. With more than 150 employees participating over Zoom, and another 20 socially distancing and masking at the Alexandria, Virginia headquarters, we managed to have an enthusiastic and enjoyable celebration.
This year we donated to three outstanding charitable organizations selected by employee voting. They were the Pan-Mass Challenge, Holbrook Farms Retreat, and Boulder Crest Foundation. Ken Falke was able to attend in person and accept the check on behalf of Boulder Crest.
President and CEO Jim Kelly presented the annual Spartan of the Year award, as well as several unique employment anniversary gifts to many members of the Invictus team.
Another fun, annual tradition is the prize drawing near the end of the evening. Admin staff shops for more myriad coveted electronic and household items, and winners’ names are drawn at random. As usual, you must be present to win!
The festivities wrapped up with a group recitation of our namesake poem, Invictus, by William Ernest Henley.
We’re looking forward to an exciting and prosperous 2021, as well as wishing the same for all who have contributed to our continued success! Have a great New Year!
