Grant Schneider is Chief Operating and Programs Officer of Invictus, a Red River Company. In this role, he leads day-to-day operations, program delivery, business performance and operating discipline for Invictus while helping scale the combined capabilities of Invictus and Red River.
Grant brings executive leadership experience at the intersection of national security, cybersecurity, enterprise resilience, business strategy and technology. He previously served as CEO of FGS, a national security services company supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and other national security organizations. His background also includes senior leadership roles at Venable, the White House, the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Personnel Management.
As the first Federal Chief Information Security Officer, Grant helped establish governmentwide cybersecurity priorities and risk management practices across the federal enterprise. He also served as Chief Information Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where he supported global IT operations across more than 140 countries and led enterprise transformation initiatives that improved service delivery, mobility and cost efficiency.
Grant holds an M.S. in Information Systems from American University and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from George Mason University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and serves on multiple boards and advisory councils focused on cybersecurity, national security and federal technology.
