Invictus Welcomes New CISO

Alexandria, VA, January 10, 2019 – Invictus International Consulting, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in cybersecurity, is pleased to announce the addition of Nathaniel Wade as the Chief Information Security Officer. Mr. Wade has decades of cybersecurity experience and is a critical addition to Invictus during this time of rapid growth.

Mr. Wade will oversee the plans to improve Invictus’ security posture, serve as Invictus’ chief cybersecurity expert, and provide strategic consulting services to Invictus’ clients.  He joined Invictus in September 2018 from a private cyber consultancy that focused on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure – a growing business segment for Invictus.

“Since its founding four short years ago, Invictus has emerged as a formidable competitor to major cybersecurity companies,” said Jamie Navarro, Invictus COO. “Bringing people of Nathaniel’s caliber into Invictus signals to the industry that Invictus is not just any other cyber company inside the Beltway – we are able to attract the best of the best and will continue to disrupt the marketplace.”

Prior to Invictus, Mr. Wade was a Cybersecurity Architect for Harris Corporation and led award-winning global cybersecurity programs for multiple US Marine Corps installations worldwide.  His passion for cybersecurity extends into his volunteer work where he commits much of his time to investing in future cyber leaders.

“Nathaniel brings the perfect combination of talent and passion to Invictus.  We are fortunate for him to join us as we move into the next phase of growth in 2019,” said Jim Kelly, Invictus CEO. As a Marine, Nathaniel brings a level of discipline and focus that few have and I look forward to what he will accomplish for Invictus this year.”
