May 7, 2025 – Washington, DC – Invictus President and COO, Nick Andersen, testifies before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet. The hearing, entitled “Protecting Our Edge: Trade Secrets and the Global AI Arms Race,” examines the role of trade secret protection in U.S. artificial intelligence development and countering economic espionage by foreign competitors and nation-states. The hearing also explores important considerations with respect to protecting U.S. intellectual property as legislation and governmental policy are developed regarding AI competition, transparency, and other issues. Mr. Andersen is one of five experts appearing before the subcommittee at this hearing.
