Invictus Leaders Nick Andersen and Sean Papso Win AFCEA 40 Under Forty Award

March 25, 2025 – Alexandria, Virginia – We are proud to announce that Invictus President, Nick Andersen, and Invictus Executive VP for Strategy, Sean Papso, were both winners of AFCEA International’s annual Emerging Leaders – 40 Under Forty award.

Nick Andersen’s career continues to prosper and grow.  His background as a former CIO and CISO – former CIO of Navy Intelligence, former CIO of Coast Guard Intelligence, former CISO for the State of Vermont and a former cybersecurity SES as an Assistant Secretary at the Department of Energy – provide both the management and technical experience needed to lead our business.  Since joining Invictus, Nick has personally been involved in the management, transition, and oversees the execution of one of the largest contracts in the intelligence community.  Additionally, Nick oversees Invictus’ work as a prime contractor on multiple contracts to include DIA’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III), DIA’s Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 (SIA3) and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Agile Cyber Technology 3 (ACT3) contracts.  Nick manages the day-to-day operations of the work under each of these contracts, including almost 350 personnel in 14 states and 3 countries.

Sean Papso is an accomplished professional in business development and strategic leadership and has amassed a remarkable track record of success throughout his career. His key accomplishments include securing over $3 billion in new business opportunities between 2018 and 2024. Since 2023, Sean has captured and led proposals for four major contracts totally over $2B in total contract value.  All four contracts are major task orders on a very diverse set of IDIQs including DIA’s SITE III, DIA’s SIA3 and AFRL ACT3 contracts, where Invictus has more than 20 industry leading partner companies and technology providers that Sean is in direct communication with regularly to capture and grow new work.  As a direct result, Invictus annual revenue grew over 200% in 2024.
