Invictus Donates to All Three Charity Finalists in 2020

In a typical year, Invictus employees nominate, then vote for a charity which will receive a significant financial gift from the company on behalf of all Invictus Spartans.  As we all know, 2020 was anything but typical.

In November, we received many deserving nominations from employees.  Next, the selection team decided on three finalists from the 12 nominees.  But as the votes came in, our President and CEO, Jim Kelly, decided not to eliminate the two with the least votes, but instead to expand our giving campaign to include all three.  This year, Invictus International Consulting donated to the following three charities:

Pan-Mass Challenge

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Benefiting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the PMC pioneered the $5 billion athletic fundraising industry when it was founded in 1980 by Billy Starr, who remains the event’s executive director and a yearly rider and fundraiser.

Holbrook Farms Retreat

Survivors of Heroes Retreats are hosted at Holbrook Farms in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Holbrook Farms Retreat, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity dedicated to providing all-expense paid wellness getaways for military widows and families who have lost their loved ones in military service. The experience provides survivors an opportunity to get away and spend time with those who have gone through similar tragedies, helping them through their healing process.

Boulder Crest Foundation

Boulder Crest Foundation uses the proven science of Posttraumatic Growth to heal, train, and advocate for combat veterans, first responders, and their families who have experienced trauma.  They develop, deliver, and scale transformative programs to ensure these remarkable men and women transform struggle into strength and lifelong growth, so they can live the great lives they deserve.

Time will tell how 2021 will work out for everyone.  At Invictus, we are hoping for the best, and looking forward to the opportunity to help as many people as possible through the fruits of our success as we continue to defend our great Nation.
