July 31, 2018, Alexandria, VA – Invictus International Consulting is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Navarro as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Navarro is a founding member of Invictus and served as the Vice President of Operations since the company’s beginning. In this new COO role, Mr. Navarro will focus on positioning the company for strategic growth across several core business areas, which include cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, training, and enterprise information technology. Mr. Navarro will also mentor Invictus’ business leads in each of its main functional areas – business operations, business development and capture, and corporate administration.

Since forming Invictus, Mr. Navarro has led key growth areas of the business and participated in several client programs as a subject matter expert. For a number of commercial programs, Mr. Navarro led Invictus’ consulting services or was the team lead for cybersecurity assessments. The company has grown to over 125 personnel in nine states and two countries, winning six major US Government Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) prime contracts and was most recently listed on the Cybersecurity 500list as one of the world’s hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies to watch in 2018 and has also won several industry awards.
Prior to forming Invictus, Mr. Navarro spent nine years at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) leading several different business units in Europe and the United States. While at CSC, he led growth across cybersecurity and intelligence business supporting several different national security clients. He also spent eight years in Europe, where his work supported crisis response, operational planning, counterterrorism, counterproliferation, and was a visiting instructor at the NATO School in Germany. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Navarro was a former US Air Force Officer where he was considered one of the Air Force’s best “targeteers” supporting several US and multinational operations and he was recognized with the National Intelligence Certificate of Distinction.
