Navy’s Former Intelligence CIO Joins Leadership Team to Drive Corporate Strategy

October 2, 2017, Alexandria, VA—Invictus International Consulting is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Andersen as the Vice President for Corporate Strategy. Andersen will play a critical role in expanding the footprint of the company in both the public and private sectors, specifically Federal civilian departments and agencies and the financial services industry.

Nicholas Andersen will oversee Invictus’ strategy to drive business growth, develop key accounts and partnerships, and align IT and cybersecurity services against lines of business supporting both Federal and private sector clients.

Andersen joined Invictus in March from the Pentagon, where he served as a Department of the Navy Senior Executive and held leadership roles pertaining to information technology and cybersecurity.

Andersen joins Invictus with extensive experience in systems engineering, enterprise development, intelligence systems, network consolidation, and enterprise infrastructure deployment and operations. He previously held senior executive roles as the Navy’s Intelligence Community Chief Information Officer (CIO), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Intelligence CIO and the Chief of the Coast Guard’s Office of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems and Technology.

In the private and non-profit sectors, Andersen served in various planning and engineering roles, and as the Chief Security Officer for the Cyber Security Forum Initiative, an international non-profit focused on cyber security research, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. He has received awards from the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the Intelligence Community.
